The Watarrka Foundation would like to share an important update regarding the upcoming Alpitye Indigenous Art Exhibition and Sale.

Please note: the in-person exhibition previously scheduled at St Luke’s Grammar School in October will no longer take place.

Instead, the event has moved fully online, hosted by our friends at Alpitye Art Studio in Alice Springs. The team at Alpitye has been working closely with their community of talented artists to curate a special online collection of traditional and contemporary Indigenous artworks.

Throughout October and November 2025, 30% of all online sales via Alpitye Art Studio's website will be donated directly to the Watarrka Foundation. 

Proceeds from this online exhibition will fund the Watarrka Foundation's Mentorship Project—a new initiative that will support young Indigenous people in the Watarrka Region as they transition from school into employment. The project will employ a dedicated mentor to guide recent school leavers as they take up job placements and traineeships at Kings Canyon Resort and other local businesses, helping them remain on Country and connected to family, community, and culture.
